HOW DOES A VACU-MAID CENTRAL VACUUM SYSTEM OPERATE?

The noise level is minimal in the living area of your home because the Vacu-Maid power unit is located in the basement or garage. The dirt and dust is gathered in a large capacity collector cannister which needs to be emptied periodically. The only visible parts are conveniently located wall inlets, connected to the power unit by a system of PVC vacuum piping. DOES VACU-MAID USE A FILTER?

No. With Vacu-Maid technology, filters are a thing of the past. Vacu-Maid's filterless, cyclonic operation allows heavy particles to fall into a dirt cannister at the bottom of the main power unit. Small particles are exhausted outside, with no detours or stopping points. This means no filters to clog or clean. It also means a cleaner house, because without the restriction of a dirty filter, you get more suction power at the end of the hose. Two dirt/air separation chambers enable the dirt to be trapped at the bottom of the cannister.


IS THE HOSE DIFFICULT TO CARRY?

Vacu-Maid's ultra-lightweight, crushproof hose is so light and flexible, you'll barely notice it's there. Even above-the-floor vacuuming is incredibly easy.
